We leave for the cruise tomorrow and have made the decision that although we will not maintain our strict diet on board the ship, we are not planning on gorging ourselves either. We will be working out on the ship. We have a laptop and several of our favorite discs.
My weight prior to the cruise is 227. My start date for the next round of the X is March first. I have some friends who swear that they are going to start with me. I hope they stick with it! The more people the more the motivation!

I cannot wait to be 39 years old. I have HUGE plans for the upcoming year. I am determined that this year will the best year in my life! Last year I lost 60 pounds and got into the best shape of my life with P90X and other Beachbody products. I did that in just under 4 months. I am now making a commitment to BRING IT for an entire year. I recently saw a video of a man who took a picture of himself everyday for a year starting with the day that he began exercising. It was on the yahoo homepage a while back. It was called “365 of Exercise”, google it, it is worth the watch. Well, I am going to steal this guy’s idea and do this for myself. I will take a picture everyday from the day I turn 39 to the day that I turn 40. I will track the results that come from working hard, eating clean and providing my body with the right supplements so that I get the absolute maximum results. I have seen what can happen in 90 days, now I want to see what will happen in 365!
I have been working out doing P90X, P90X+, INSANITY, TH One on One and even some Turbo Jam. But now…now I am going to up the intensity. I am going to workout so hard and so intensely that I am going to be nervous…maybe even scared before my workouts! I am going to dedicate myself to this 100%, challenge myself and see what I can accomplish! I will begin another round of P90X as soon as we get back. I have found that as much as I love the variety of the hybrid workouts. I miss the structure of P90X. I miss having a plan all laid out for me. A plan that I know will work.
I will blog often, daily if possible in an effort to be publicly accountable. Nobody likes to be a quitter, so I a counting on all of you to stop by and keep me in check and help me keep going. I know that there are going to be days that I don’t feel like working out, but I posting my workouts on here will help me DIG DEEPER and PUSH THROUGH.
I provide motivation and feedback to many, many people through Beachbody Coaching and I love it. If there is a more supportive and motivational group of people than the Beachbody Community, then I am not aware of it.
My Coach Mike French helps keep me motivated. Of course, it helps to walk the walk if you are going to talk the talk. Lord knows he does that and I am going to continue doing the same too. So it is my hope that you will follow this blog and ask your friends to follow. I hope that you will join and encourage me on this fitness journey. It is going to be a blast!
Today ended up being an unplanned but much needed rest day. I cannot remember the last day that I did not do some sort of workout. I started the day out late because I slept in. My first day off work from the midnight shift is usually a little hectic. I started doing the TH One on One Medicine Ball workout (one of my favorites) but then realized that I had not fixed dinner for the kids yet. So Tony would have to wait.
Kodi got home and we went to see Steph and the gang at the Starbucks in Grapevine. It was a real fun time. I realize that these first few posts are not earthshattering and might even be a little boring, but I am mostly just getting myself in the habit of blogging often. I actually don’t have a single person following this blog right now and that suits me fine.
This post will serve as a test of my nitwitted techy abilities and also to get my foot in the door on this process.
